Deed Information

We have a notary on staff in the office. Free of charge for Property Owners. Deeds must be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds at the Washington County Courthouse. They charge $27 per deed.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC REGARDING MISSOURI RECORDER OF DEEDS FEE CHANGES EFFECTIVE AUGUST 28, 2026 

Effective August 28, 2026, Quit Claim Deeds recorded at the Washington County Recorder of Deeds office will be $26 for the first page and $3 for each additional page. If using the Quit Claim deed offered on this site, the fee will be $29 for the two pages.
